Legendary football manager and jungle king Harry Redknapp will be a special guest at the University of Gloucestershire’s Media School next month.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss and ‘I’m a Celebrity’ champion will be visiting Park campus on the afternoon of Wednesday 6 November to bring down the curtain on this year’s HEA Award-winning annual Media Festival.
Redknapp will be recounting stories from an extraordinary career which saw him forge a reputation as one of Britain's top football managers, winning an FA Cup with Portsmouth and leading Spurs to the Champions League quarter-finals, before becoming one of the nation's best-loved TV personalities following last-year's exploits in the jungle.
He will be interviewed on stage in front of a live audience by a group of Media School students and BA Sports Journalism course lecturer Brendan McLoughlin.
The event starts at 1.45pm and finishes at 3.15pm, all ticketholders must be seated by 1.30pm and latecomers will not be admitted.
Tickets are free, but must be booked in advance.
Some audience questions will be taken during the event, but they must be submitted in advance. To submit a question please email mediaschool@glos.ac.uk by 5pm Friday 25 October.
