Want to know how to look after your wellbeing whilst starting out as a junior lawyer and what support is available?

Join us for our second 'In Conversation With' hosted by our Wellness Representative, Sonay Erten. Sonay will be discussing the mental health and wellbeing of junior lawyers with a panel of LawCare representatives.

On the panel are:

Elizabeth Rimmer: CEO of LawCare

Celine Winham: Employment Lawyer at Bolt Burdon and a Peer Supporter with LawCare

Chloe Benton: Trainee Solicitor at Freeths LLP and a LawCare Champion

Organiser Surrey Junior Lawyers Division

Organiser of In Conversation With LawCare

Surrey Junior Lawyers Division (“SJLD”) is a group of around 200 junior lawyers in Surrey ranging from trainees to those up to 10 years PQE. The SJLD Committee are dedicated to providing a network that represents and supports junior lawyers in Surrey in a number of ways including:

a) providing support to trainee solicitors, those below 5 years PQE, legal executives, paralegals and pupil and junior barristers in the Surrey area;

b) improving networking among legal professionals in Surrey and in particular ensuring trainees and newly qualified solicitors are kept up to date with Junior Lawyers Division matters;

c) making a contribution to the education of those pursuing a career in law;

d) improving awareness of issues relating to the profession; and

e) participating in pro bono activities to connect with the community in which we work.
