  • Using the house you work at in your fiction and burning it down

  • And heading a national writer's association

Copies of Nicola's books will be available to purchase and hot drinks will be provided in a DIY fashion.

Doors open at 7:20pm. The conversation will start at 7:30pm

Tickets after 12th July will be £6.50

Nicola Cornick is the author of over 40 novels. A regency romance writer for many years, she recently turned the page to dual-plot historical fantasy romance mysteries. Away from writing, she is the current chair of the Romantic Novelists' Association.

House of Shadows was published in 2015 to great acclaim; it tells the story of Elizabeth Craven nee Stuart, Queen of Bohemia, interwoven with the tale of a present-day mystery-solver who is looking to find out what happened to the 1700s house that burned down.

The Phantom Tree (2016) blends contemporary narrative with a story of Mary Seymour, the child of Katherine Parr, whose disappearance from records at the age of two history still cannot explain.
