Description

A rare chance for adults to hear the Nobel Prize-winning physicist talk about his life and work.

Hosted by author, journalist and museum executive Roger Highfield, Professor Sir Andre Geim discusses his unique and creative approach to scientific research, from levitating frogs to the groundbreaking experiments that produced graphene, the 2D material which is paving the way to a range of wonder materials with extraordinary properties.

The Wonder Materials: Graphene and Beyond exhibition will be open for ticketholders from 6pm - 7.30pm.

Due to the popularity of this event, attendees are only permitted to book a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction. 

Attendees must produce a valid ticket to attend the event

Attendees must be over 18

Doors open at 6pm and the in conversation event will begin at 7.30pm.

Filming, recording and photography will take place during the event. Ticket holders should be aware that, by attending the event, they grant their permission to be included on film, in recordings and in photographs.
