Join renowned journalist and York St John Chancellor Reeta Chakrabarti for the launch of her debut novel Finding Belle. Moving from Mombasa to England and Kolkata, Finding Belle is an incredible story about mothers and daughters, betrayal, and a child who must forge her own identity. In conversation with Professor Anne-Marie Evans, Reeta will discuss her writing process and some of the key themes that her work interrogates. Come and join us for what is sure to be a fascinating and enlightening conversation. The School of Humanities is delighted to host this event in collaboration with the York Literature Festival.


The book launch will be followed by a wine reception and book signing.


Reeta Chakrabarti is a well-known journalist, newsreader and correspondent for BBC News. Finding Belle is her first novel.

Professor Anne-Marie Evans is Head of the School of Humanities at York St John University.

Parking

There is no parking for any vehicles on site and ANPR cameras are in operation 24/7.

We have a small number of Blue Badge spaces available, these spaces can only be used if guests have pre registered their number plates by emailing events@yorksj.ac.uk.

Registering your details does not guarantee a space, as they operate on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure your blude badge is displayed clearly in the vehicle.
