Join us at Photofusion for an evening in conversation with award-winning photographer and Photofusion member Soulla Petrou, whose debut exhibition and photobook Rewind revisits her first 15 years working in the music industry, from 1994 to 2009.
Shot largely on film, Soulla’s photographs capture the energy of the UK’s evolving music scenes and the vibrancy of club and youth culture during a formative era. Her images blend portraiture, performance and candid moments, reflecting both the cultural forces that shaped the time and her own playful, creative approach.
Photofusion Director Jenni Grainger will lead the conversation, asking Soulla about her archive, influences and artistic journey, followed by an audience Q&A.
The event will take place at Photofusion Gallery, 2 Beehive Place, Brixton, SW9 7QR (2 mins walk Brixton tube station) on Friday 26th September 2025, 6.30 - 7.30pm. The ticket price will be deducted from the cost of any book purchased at the event. Income from tickets purchased will go directly to support Photofusion Educational Trust, helping us continue to provide free opportunities to those who face barriers to participation in the visual arts sector.
