In Conversation with ... Thomas Lowe
Thomas Lowe has recently completed his PhD on the topic of older adult mobility experiences and perceptions in England. He will consider how older adults are also carers for individuals living with dementia.
His research focuses on how older adults live their everyday lives. He focuses on how different events and experiences in life influence how older adults feel and experience their mobility in the present. He also looks at how the past plays a part in those experiences and feelings and similarly how the imagined future may also play a role. Overall, Thomas aims to focus on what older adults think, feel and perceive in their lives and put what they say at the heart of his work.
