Event description

Description

Hear Brendan talk about why we should be worried about the direction the western world is going in, reasons to be optimistic and how you can change your world.

Brendan Cox is the Co-founder of More in Common, and the husband of Jo Cox MP, who was murdered in June 2016. For the last eighteen months he has been working to combat growing xenophobia and intolerance across Europe. He has worked as a campaigner for many advocacy groups over the years including Save the Children, Oxfam, and Crisis Action, and was Special Advisor to the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown between 2008 and 2010 where he advised on international development and foreign policy.

Mostly Books will be hosting a signing of Brendan’s book, ‘More in Common’ at the event. Refreshments are available.
