Introducing Rain Newton-Smith, CBI Chief Economist:
Rain leads the CBI team which provides economic analysis and surveys. Previously she was the head of Emerging Markets at Oxford Economics and the lead expert on China. She has also worked in monetary policy and international forecast to the MPC at the Bank of England.
