In Memory of Edgar Mobbs: 100 Year Tribute to a Northampton Hero

Join us on this centenary anniversary to commemorate Northampton hero Edgar Mobbs and his “Sportsman’s Army”. A series of talks by local historians focusing on Edgar Mobbs and the Northamptonshire Regiment at the Battle of Ypres, Belgium, during WW1. The keynote speech, ‘1917 and the Third Battle of Ypres’, will be by Dr Jim Beach, Senior Lecturer in Twentieth Century History at the University of Northampton.

In association with the Western Front Association.

£6.50 (plus 99p booking fee and VAT)
