In Our Words 2025: From the Heart Recital and Celebration

'In Our Words' is celebrating a year of Literature and Literacy in Portsmouth and we'd love for you to take part!

Our popular ‘From the Heart’ Poetry Recitals are the culmination of pledges made by people of all ages and backgrounds to learn a poem off by heart and to recite them in front of an audience. We're delighted that this year's recital, which is taking place on National Poetry Day, is being brought to you by Portsmouth Creates.

Your hosts for the evening are Maggie Sawkins and Janet Ayers who will be joined by the Barbershop Singers.
