About the Speaker:
Samantha Gifford
BSc (hons) Bioveterinary Science, MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy (MNAVP, MIAVRPT)
Sam initially studied Bioveterinary Science at the University of the West of England, graduating in 2014. It was here Sam first gained experience in small and large animal therapies, developing an interest for this career. Whilst working as a senior scientific officer in veterinary diagnostics, Sam went on to study Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University, qualifying in 2018 and going on to complete her Master’s degree in 2020. Sam’s passion and lifelong aspiration was to become part of the veterinary profession to contribute towards animal health and welfare, and working at SCVS as a full-time physiotherapist has allowed her to achieve this.
During the CPD event, SCVS will be taking pictures and video footage. If you wish not to be included, please notify a member of staff.
