Join us to learn powerful yet gentle qigong practices to assist with releasing the sluggish energy of winter and opening to the vibrant, expansive energy of spring.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is associated with the Liver and Gallbladder and the Wood element which has an upward, expansive energy. The Liver in TCM is responsible for the free of energy in our body and by balancing our Wood element through energetic practices we can allow our emotions to flow more freely, grow and enhance our inspiration, creativity and sense of purpose.

‘Peace, happiness and joy is possible during the time I drink my tea.’ Thich Nhat Hanh

Tea has long been associated with meditation and there will be the chance to reflect and set intentions at the calming, meditative matcha green tea ceremony. Chamomile tea will also be available.

Testimonials:

I began Qigong with Tracy Friend during the pandemic and I am still attending her classes 3 years on. It benefits me so much in so many ways - it helps me with physical strength and flexibility, it is so very calming and I feel it has profoundly changed my nervous system which was always in a fight or flight mode previously. I've really deepened my meditation practice through it too and built a better body awareness. I can now really tune in to chakra points and I feel the Qi (energy flow) in my body. I highly recommend anyone new to Qigong to give it a try, it is gentle, enjoyable, can be modified to ability level, and yet it's deeply powerful and healing. I cannot thank Tracy enough for her guidance and teaching.”

“I love the tenor of what Tracy does. Sincere. Heart-felt. Authentic.”

“Highly recommend, it is clear that Tracy practices what she teaches.”

“The workshops help to keep me inspired and I feel like they give me ‘an energetic tune-up’.”
