COURSE INFORMATION

Discover how to unlearn the bad mental habit of worrying and become calmer and happier. Problems, worry, anxiety, and unhappiness arise in dependence upon negative thinking; they are feelings existing within the mind. Through training in meditation and mindfulness, we learn to control our thoughts and let go of negative, self-defeating minds.

Through meditation we will discover within our mind an inner peace and contentment that does not depend upon external conditions. We will learn to respond to every situation in a positive, constructive manner and live without fear, enjoying every moment of our life.

This course is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Doors open from 10.15am

10.30 – 11.30am Talk and guided meditations

11.30am – 12.00pm Refreshment break

12.00pm – 1.00pm Talk and guided meditations

Reading Kadampa Meditation Centre
 is a Centre for meditation and modern Buddhism based in Reading, Berkshire and offers everyone the opportunity to develop lasting inner peace through meditation.

 

Meditation and mindfulness courses are held in ReadingMaidenhead, Windsor and Beaconsfield. The Centre and its activities are open to everyone. You do not have to be Buddhist to take part in the classes or courses run by us to benefit from them.
