IN PERSON Thermal Imaging Camera Information Session 2025/26 London Colney

Thank you for booking an in person thermal imaging camera information session.

The Information session will last about 45 minutes and will look at :

• What you can learn about your home by using the camera
• The arrangements for booking to borrow the camera, for the collection and return of the camera and the handling of deposits, with Q&A.

Venue:

• The venue will be sent with the booking confirmation.
• The sessions are frequently over subscribed so it you find that you are unable to attend please either cancel via eventbrite or email us thermal.imaging@sustainablestalabans.org

Borrowing a thermal imaging cameras:

• Sustainable St Albans has three (different) thermal imaging camera (known as "Harpenden Camera", "St Albans camera" and "Community Camera").
• The "Harpenden Camera" and "St Albans Camera" are loaned to St Albans district residents on a daily basis.
• The "Community Camera" is loaned to schools and to community groups on a weekly basis.
• Following the information session you will be sent links to various Eventbrite Borrowing Events to book to borrow the camera.
• The cameras are held by our thermal imaging camera volunteers on rotation; the Eventbrite Borrowing Event will state the area that the camera is collected from and returned to for those particular dates (eg Central Harpenden, West Harpenden, AL1 South East, AL1 Bernards Heath, AL4 Colney Heath Lane, London Colney)
• The cameras are straightforward to use, and further information on using the cameras is provided in the Information Pack and Video for the relevant camera, whican can be found on this webpage https://sustainablestalbans.org/efficient-buildings/thermal-imaging-camera/
