In Progress is a specialist one-day creative conference curated by It's Nice That, celebrating groundbreaking ideas and projects from 2012, and exploring how they will shape 2013 and beyond.
Championing creativity across multiple platforms, In Progress promises an expertly curated programme of high-profile talks and insights from some of the most exciting and forward-thinking people in the creative industries.
Reflecting It’s Nice That’s commitment to creative multiplicity, the programme features over a dozen speakers from across the creative spectrum. The keynote talk will be given by Director of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad Ruth Mackenzie exploring how this year’s celebrations may influence and shape the future of our cultural landscape. The line-up also includes award-winning Olympic Torch designers BarberOsgerby looking back on a memorable year for British design, Channel 4’s marketing and communications chief Dan Brooke sharing insights into their Paralympics Meet the Superhumans campaign, and writer and broadcaster Rupert Goodwins exploring innovations in 3D printing and what this means for the future.
We'll also be joined by creative trend forecasters FranklinTill, multidisciplinary designer Keiichi Matsuda talking about working with emerging technologies, alongside The Guardian's architecture and design critic Oliver Wainwright critiquing the Olympic legacy, and Hellicar & Lewis who will be exploring innovations in broadcasting and interactive media. Ben Terrett and Sarah Richards will showcase this year's digital transformation of gov.uk, Ben Southworth deputy CEO of Tech City (TCIO) will provide insights into the future of the UK's entrepreneurial landscape, Nicolas Roope Founder of POKE and Hulger will be examining how to foster innovation across both physical and digital platforms, and to close the day Artangel's Michael Morris and architect David Kohn will be in conversation with It's Nice That, discussing 2012's widely celebrated installation, A Room for London.
A light lunch, refreshments and post conference drinks are included in the ticket price, as well as some goodies from the lovely folk at KeepCups.

Delegates Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you wish to cancel your ticket, you will need to contact us a minimum of 21 days prior to the event. We will re-sell the ticket online but in the event that it is not re-sold we will charge a 50% cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds can be given to requests received less than 21 days prior to the event. All cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of a terrorist alert or incident preventing the running of In Progress, we reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the fee as a contribution to delegate registration, all venue, marketing and central administrative cost
