About this event

Mary Broddle’s Mindful Stitching sessions are peaceful, engaging and enjoyable! Learn a new creative skill and take some time for yourself.

Mary’s sessions are inspired by traditional Japanese and Indian techniques. Mary and Hopkinson both share a love for mindfulness, craftsmanship, and community. Mary's peaceful presence and unique knowledge surrounding needlework and social history are what makes these sessions so unique. If you want to chill, create and connect with others in a quirky environment, join us.

Whether you’re a seasoned embroiderer or new to the craft, Mary will guide you through the process, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all participants. Child and neuro-divergent friendly and suitable for differently-abled people.

£10 per person (without EventBrite ticket fee). Ticket price includes materials. You can buy a ticket on the door with card or cash, whatever is best for you!

This session is occur in Station Street Kitchen, so you can treat yourself to any of our nibbles or tipples!

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking available?

If you require parking, there are multiple car parks near Station St in the city centre. Please look at Google Maps to find the closest one. Because of Hopkinson’s location, we have excellent transport connections to the train station, taxis, tram stop and bus stops.

Is this wheelchair friendly?

This event is wheelchair accessible, however our toilet is on the 1st floor and needs to be accessed by the stairs. Please note, our floor is uneven. If you require a wheelchair-friendly toilet, you can use the train station toilets or the toilets in Starbucks (which is just up the street from us).

Is this child-friendly?

Yes!
