This updated teachers' course will provide guidance for those with students who are in the process of transitioning from Intermediate to Advanced 1. Attention will be given to the teaching and analysis of the technical requirements in the Dance Movement vocabulary at Intermediate and how this underpins the foundation of the Advanced 1. Now that we have introduced the free music playlist for the Intermediate Syllabus work in our ‘Revise & Regenerate’ courses, this lecture will reaffirm the importance of the Musical, Stylistic & Artistic developments that will enhance your students’ progression from Intermediate to Advanced 1.

Although the course is not designed to work on the choreographic setting of set sequences, questions regarding the syllabus may be answered, time-permitting.

Unfortunately, the development of the NEW Intermediate syllabus has been momentarily paused due to the pandemic, however, the concepts taught on this course will be ideal preparation for the new syllabus structure when it is launched, making this future transition more readily understood.

This course is strongly recommended for anyone teaching DDE, Associate, or studying/coaching Licentiate and Fellowship.
