About:

The UK’s social care system is under increasing pressure. Demand for services continues to rise, while care providers struggle to keep pace. In 2023/24, nearly 80% of upper-tier local authority net revenue expenditure was allocated to social care—highlighting the urgent need for systemic reform.

In this episode of iN the Loop, we explore what it will take to build a more effective, equitable, and sustainable social care system. Our speakers will discuss:

  • The role of technology and digital transformation in reshaping care delivery
  • The importance of human-centred and trauma-informed approaches
  • The policy reforms needed to support long-term change

Whether you're working in social care, digital transformation, or public policy, this conversation offers valuable insights and practical ideas for driving meaningful change.
