About this session
Sustainability and Net Zero
Climate change is more present than ever before with rising sea levels and increases in extreme weather patterns as well as risks to biodiversity becoming ever common. It is therefore important that public and private sector organisations take responsibility to reduce their carbon footprint in order to combat climate change. There are multiple ways organisations can reduce their carbon footprint from organisational recycling schemes to introducing renewable energy sources to heat buildings.
The Net Zero agenda is a government strategy that sets out plans and targets to reduce emissions and decarbonise all sectors. This discussion will explore measures and policies organisations are putting in place to become more sustainable and become net zero in the near future.
