Supersonic Kids Gigs are designed for families as a way of introducing children to experimental music – BIG sounds for little people! Our online shows take place as a Live Stream on Zoom, so you can join us for the usual Kids Gig fun from the comfort of home.

This special *Foodie* based gig is taking place with the delectable Ben Sadler!

Ben is a Birmingham-based artist who makes art as part of Juneau Projects, formed in 2001 alongside friend Phil. With bonkers song covers from Lionel Ritchie to Kraftwerk, Ben will create music with and about food to keep you entertained whilst sporting some of his favourite outfits from daughter’s dressing-up box once more (we can’t keep him away!) Expect interaction and creative covers and a musical vegetable or two.

Kids Gig host extraordinaire; Anna Palmer an experimental songwriter & pyscho-performer will join you and Ben on his foodie journey.

Kids Gigs are recommended for children 10 and under

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A tasty online arts festival for foodies over 5yrs+ served by #HAF2021

6-9 April & 13-16 April

The festival for young foodies and creative thinkers.

Join us for a tasty programme of creative opportunities taking place during the Easter Holidays. In the Mix combines art and food to encourage the children and young people of Sandwell to take a new approach to exploring healthy eating. Write a song about your favourite meal, design your own food fashion line or; tuck into a feast of stories. There is lots to pick and choose from.

This series of digital interventions and events for children and young people will feature, pre-recorded content, live broadcasts, virtual drop-in sessions and online workshops across a range of artforms including; illustration, dance, craft, storytelling, journaling, writing, poetry, visual Arts, circus skills, music, song writing, drama and live music.

In the Mix is part of #HAF2021 supported by the Department for Education brought together by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. The In the Mix management group is lead by Felix Pepler (Ingestre Arts) Amy Martin (SCEP) with Black Country Touring, SHAPE Youth Arts, Conygre Youth Arts Centre and Newave.
