A fascinating documentary which depicts the endurance of three women, a footballer, a fisherwoman and a cremator, who have endured more physical and mental pain than an average human being could imagine. But these are women who refuse to let their stories be defined by sorrow and pain, instead choosing to face and overcome all the challenges life has thrown at them with humour and compassion. The result is a portrait of three unforgettable women who refuse to back down from a fight against the status quo and in doing so, light up the screen, keep you laughing, and who will stay with you long after the credits roll.
