Matilda is doing a charity walk from Torridon to Leadhills. Join Matilda Brown playing her music with wonderful musicians, in Mugdock Country Park's Theatre, featuring both old tunes and new tunes and many inspired by the walk itself.
From Matilda - "My goal is to raise awareness about Scotland’s remarkable natural landscapes, celebrate its stunning beauty, its unique geology and assist in the conservation of its wildlife, engaging with individuals and communities along the way.
Like many, I turn to the landscape for solace, for peace and, as an artist, for inspiration. But I fear these safe spaces, these breathing spaces, our Scottish wildlife are at risk from large-scale developments and mass infrastructure.
Please, join me and support this journey as I make my way through Scotland on foot, with brown dog by my side, to celebrate, honour and marvel at what we still possess, so that together we can raise our voices to celebrate, cherish and keep safe the natural beauty that we hold so dear."
