An evening of poetry and wine!

Hosted by publisher Emma Wright with readings from Cynthia Miller (co-director of Verve) and Richard O'Brien (editor at The Emma Press), interspersed with tutored tastings from Chris Connolly (Connolly's Wine Merchants).

Includes six wines, each accompanied by readings of 1-2 specially-chosen poems.

Verve is Birmingham's festival of world-class poetry and spoken word, returning for its second year in February 2018 at
Waterstones Birmingham.

The Emma Press is an award-winning independent publisher based in Birmingham. It was founded by Emma Wright in 2012 and has since published over 40 books.

Connolly's Wine Merchants is a family-run business with branches on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter and in Solihull. They are passionate about selecting and shipping wines from all over the world to Birmingham.
