Join us for the inaugural Cheyne Memorial Lecture to celebrate the launch of the Network for the Study of the Long Reformation.

This event will be taking place both online and in-person. Please register for the relevant ticket type.

Professor Scott Spurlock (University of Glasgow) will explore the tantalising topic: 'Protestant Scotland's Cardinal Sin'. Opening reflections on the late Revd Professor A. C. Cheyne of New College will be delivered by Stewart J. Brown, Professor Emeritus of Ecclesiastical History (University of Edinburgh).

The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception, 5:30pm-6:30pm and all are warmly welcome to attend.

Venue information

In line with fire safety regulations attendees using a wheelchair must be able to self-transfer to an evac chair in order to safely evacuate the building.
