Who is it for:

You’re likely to be contributing to the direction of the organisation as a Director, senior manager, or HR professional and are concerned about its profile and cultural practices. You recognise that diversity and inclusion should be high on the agenda as a means to support the espoused values but are unclear about how to ensure it has a seat at the table.

Why is this important?

Diversity and inclusion are key to enabling organisations to achieve their objectives and drive improvement. They also underpin legal and ethical practice and are central to reporting to shareholders, regulators and wider stakeholder groups in the community. And then there is wave after wave of headline-making news; #MeToo, Black Lives Matter, Time’s Up, the BMA report: COVID-19; the risk to BAME doctors and associated press that place the issues on the agenda, but still leave people feeling scared to talk about them for fear of saying the wrong thing or feeling (too) comfortable that it’s all been taken care of in their organisation.
