An event set to rival London 2012 and Rio 2016, we have Philip Rutnam, Permanent Secretary at DfT and Civil Service Disability Champion opening our Inclusion week. This will be a celebration of the great work that is happening across the Civil Service to make the Civil Service a truly inclusive organisation.
Immediately following this will be the next stage of the Ability network’s ‘This is me’ campaign which is about celebrating bringing our whole selves to work. We'll be joined by a fantastic panel of people who are willing to share their stories in a candid discussion about hidden disabilities.
Whether you are disabled or non-disabled, this is the event for you. To make contacts or find support to help you manage a condition or long-term impairment in the workplace; to find out how to get the best out of all your staff, or to understand about difference in society to improve your policy making. This will be eye-opening, genuine and most importantly lots of fun (which means there will be a few treats provided!)
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to ensure this event is accessible to you.
