This Webinar will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in a discussion on cross-national perspectives on inclusive assessment approaches in higher education. Assessment approaches can be found to be very diverse in different national contexts and these differences impact both students’ learning and their higher education. The current debate with regard to assessment practice in UK institutions focuses on approaches that lend themselves to what might be considered as inclusive of the diversity of the student body. In this Webinar we hope to consider how educators might understand these approaches, offering case study examples of current practice in different institutions, allowing for participants to engage in a discussion and exploration of the challenges and benefits of such approaches.
