Step Change Studios is an award-winning dance company providing fun, creative opportunities for disabled people to dance.

Following the success of Dance Westminster, we are delighted to launch weekly virtual dance classes via ZOOM in partnership with Active Westminster. The first 7 weeks are FREE. As soon as we are able to be together, this programme will turn into a regular live class...

It has never been more important to be active so join our fun, virtual, dance classes for disabled people of all abilities. Our 50-minute classes will draw inspiration from a range of dance styles such as Latin, Hip Hop and Contemporary.

You must pre-register to take part. We will then send you the Zoom class link. If you are new to Zoom we can help guide you with set up.

A couple of things to note when you join our classes:

1. Please join the Zoom class 5 minutes before the start time so we can admit you into the class.

2. Make sure the space you are dancing in is clear of any hazards - this means things you could trip over, or bash into. If you have pets please keep them out of the room.

3. Classes are for people who have registered only. If someone else you live with would like to take part, please ask them to register first.

4. Please ensure your microphone is off so everyone can hear us when we teach. Please select video ON and select "Speaker View” at the top of your screen.

5. Please take a rest and drink water when you like. If you feel unwell, please stop and seek medical advice.

6. Please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing and footwear. Nothing you can slip in or that can get caught (so no socks or slippers).

7. Check the background space you will be dancing in to make sure it does not contain anything inappropriate or that you don't want other people to see on camera.

By joining our online classes you agree that you have not been advised against physical activity by a doctor or health expert. You accept and assume responsibility for injury or damage that may result from your participation in the classes. Neither Step Change Studios nor individual class leaders are responsible or liable for any injury or damage to property whilst you take part in online classes. The recording and distribution of classes is not allowed.
