This workshop is designed to support parents and Maktab teachers in making Islamic learning accessible for children with SEND. We will explore what neurodiversity means in practice, including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia, and look at the common challenges these learners face when engaging with Qur’an, Qaidah, and Seerah.
Through practical strategies, you will learn how to break down concepts, use visuals, and adapt teaching methods in ways that nurture both understanding and love for Islam. The session also draws upon guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah, reminding us of our responsibility as an Ummah to uplift and include every child.
Together, we will explore how to nurture faith with compassion, patience, and creativity, ensuring that all children, regardless of their needs, can connect with their deen.
