Inclusive Quality First Teaching

This course focuses on what research tells us makes the most difference to the life chances of children and young people: Inclusive Quality First Teaching.

This course supports teachers to address progress and attainment inequalities between different groups of learners. The session explores the five elements of inclusive classrooms (Participation, Engagement through Challenge, Thinking Skills and Meta-cognition, Dialogue and Collaboration) and is highly practical.  Participants will engage in a number of activities and then reflect on how these can be adapted to different classroom contexts.

Teachers (Key stage 1 - 5) and leaders with responsibility for teaching & learning and inclusion.
