Inclusive Travel and Transport
Thu 6 April 2017, 17:30 – 20:00 BST
Are you involved in the travel and transport or related industries? Are you interested in the way the industry is responding to the ever-growing need for inclusive products and customer experiences?
- How are customer service expectations changing?
- How is new tech being leveraged?
- What is being done to improve services for everybody?
- What still needs to be done?
Come join us for a stimulating evening of discussion with speakers from National Rail, Uber, Virgin Atlantic and Transport for London. Learn about innovative ways they are making travel more inclusive and what still needs to be done to provide travel experiences for the widest range of passengers.
We will also hear from disabled travellers themselves (with impairments ranging from mobility, vision loss, hearing loss, and learning differences), who will share their stories and experiences about what does and does not work for them.
We hope over the course of the evening to help spark a rich conversation around inclusive design for travel and transport!
Should you have any difficulty using Eventbrite to register, please call us on 07478 335 028 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For screen readers, Eventbrite works best in its app form with Voiceover if you have an iPhone.
Please note that to make this event as accessible as possible we will provide a BSL interpreter and speech to text reporter.
There are 2 parking bays for blue badge holders available a 3 min walk away on Union St (B300) by the junction with Pepper Street. For other accessible travel options, please plan your trip here. https://tfl.gov.uk/transport-accessibility/
