About this event

This new ACO group will provide a platform to share insights/approaches from ACO members around income generation and fundraising strategies. We will provide a regular combination of external speakers, member case studies and group discussion to identify current best practice and new opportunities to increase revenue streams.

Open to all ACO members.

Speakers on Tuesday 29 June will include:

Michelle Benson (Founder: Culture of Philanthropy) - Using Social Media Effectively to Support Your Income Streams

With over 20 years of fundraising experience, 8 years at Senior Leadership Team/Board level, Michelle has developed the “Fundraising Growth Formula” as a new approach to fundraising.

Working with charity leaders and senior fundraisers, Michelle helps grow your income without growing your staff numbers. If you need to grow your income on your existing resources, without an existing network of funders to tap into, the Fundraising Growth Formula can help you do so. In this presentation,

Michelle will focus on learning how to get your case for support in front of more people using social media effectively.

Tom Montague (Co-Founder: Give-Star (formerly TapSimple) - Future-proofing your charity fundraising

Charity fundraising is changing. With cash in decline, we need a new set tools to help fundraisers unlock more donations than ever before. That's where GiveStar comes in!

Give-Star is helping charities step confidently into a new world of digital, cashless fundraising. How? By empowering their fundraisers with the simple tools they need to unlock more donations than ever before.

Tom Montague will provide an insight into how the Give-Star platform is providing a complete digital fundraising toolkit, already in place with charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, Cancer Research UK and Christian Aid.
