Incorporating Values-Based Competencies into Healthcare Education

Given your importance in the education and training infrastructure of South London, Maudsley Simulation and King’s College London would like to invite you to a workshop on ‘Incorporating Values-Based Competencies into Healthcare Education’. This workshop is an exciting opportunity to influence the way in which high quality education can be delivered to our healthcare workforce as we move towards implementating New Models of Care and engaging with 5 Year Forward Plans.
The 5-hour workshop, beginning over a working lunch, aims to:
- Outline existing approaches to values-based and human factors education & practice
- Develop shared understanding of how to use and implement these approaches into clinical supervision and teaching
- Discuss the future of values-based education in healthcare
We hope that attendance to this workshop will support participants influence the development of their workforce in line with new models of integrated care and the strategic objectives of HEE and NHS England.
