Increase Your Success with learners with ADHD

This essential one-day course has been designed for teachers, support staff or anyone working with students with ADHD, or who would like to move into this field.
During the day delegates will develop their understanding and knowledge of ADHD. They will leave with reassuringly uncomplicated strategies to enable students to enjoy lessons and succeed in class.
By the end of the session, delegates will have:
• More knowledge and understanding about ADHD.
• Knowledge about common medications for ADHD, and their side effects.
• Have an understanding how to modify the impact that ADHD has on learning and transform the impact of this.
• Develop an understanding of the key principles and strategies of positive behavior.

The trainer for this programme is Karen Ferguson.
The course content includes behaviour and classroom management techniques which benefits all students, not just those with ADHD.
