Increasing our impact as changemakers
Event Information
Description
How to increase your impact as a changemaker?
Are you concerned about what's happening in the world today?
Wanting to change things but don't know how?
Or working for change but feeling overwhelmed, burnt out or not sure of the best approach?
If so this event is for you!
Debbie Warrener has been exploring the question of how to increase our impact as changemakers for many years. 10 years ago she worked at a high policy level in government in the field of international development. Alongside this she was also deeply involved in grassroots level local activism. Her perspectives from both these experiences led her to explore how we can really affect change – and what it takes from us to be powerful changemakers.
For the past 7 years Debbie has been working as a leadership trainer and coach running workshops and retreats internationally for changemakers and wannabe changemakers. Debbie is passionate about enabling those concerned about the need for change in the world to step into their full potential, passion and purpose.
In this interactive event Debbie will share her top tips to increase both your impact and fun – while also changing the world!

The event will take place at the Hive Dalston, a fantastic space created by awesome changemakers ReSpace Projects - a not-for-profit company set up to facilitate the use of empty buildings for social and environmental good. Many wonderful things have happened in the space over the past few years but sadly they have to leave on 17 November as the space is being converted to flats.
The event will therefore also include celebration of the Hive - hearing stories from them of their success and their top tips for changemakers.
The event is being run on a donations basis. All donations will go to the awesome guys at ReSpace and the Hive.
