Description

The study of Sanskrit in the 19th century revolutionised our understanding of the languages of Europe. Learn more about the language and poetry of some of Hinduism's canonical texts, the Rigveda, and find out the truth about the relationship between Sanskrit, Latin and Greek with Dr. Jo Willmott of the Faculty of Classics.
