Join us for an evening of running or walking, a flag hoisting ceremony, and togetherness with friends and family. All ages are welcome to take part in this tribute to India’s lasting legacy of courage and hope.

6:00 PM – Arrival & Registration
- Arrive at Furzton Lake
- Collect your commemorative T-shirt and confirm attendance
6:15 PM – Welcome Address
- Brief introduction to the event
- Overview of the significance of Indian Independence Day (78 years of freedom)
6:30 PM – Run/Walk Begins
- Two laps around Furzton Lake (participants may choose to run or walk)
- Volunteers to guide and cheer on participants
7:15 PM – Flag Hoisting Ceremony
- Indian flag hoisting and singing of the national anthem
- Group photo to commemorate the day
7:30 PM – Community Social
- Light refreshments and time to mingle
- Optional: Walk to the nearby Furzton Lake pub for further celebration
