Independent Consultants SIG: Using Video to Market your Business
Thursday, 6 April 2017 from 19:30 to 21:00 (BST)
Arrive at 6:45pm for a 7:30pm start.
Video is an incredibly creative and effective way to tell the stories behind your consultancy business. Whether it’s on your website, using social media or attending conferences and exhibitions, video helps you to communicate with your audience. So how do you create effective video content that ties in with your marketing and communications strategies at a reasonable cost?
Video is no longer an expensive medium just for large organisations. David advises small businesses like ours how to create their own videos for social media and web, using their existing smartphones, tablets and cameras. Come along and get some tips on how to plan and create your own video content. There'll be some guidance on what not to do as well as practical demonstrations. There'll also be an opportunity for you to try shooting your own short video, so don't forget to bring your phone, tablet or camera along to the session.
Our Speaker: David Perry - Director, David Perry Media
David Perry is an expert on helping organisations to build a video content strategy and he will be helping us to think through our own. To see what he does, visit his website at www.davidperrymedia.com.
