The Association for Families of Independent Schools (AFIS) is the first organisation to bring together parents, relatives, teachers, staff and alumni of independent schools throughout the U.K. in one, cohesive, online community.

AFIS provides our members (families and schools) a central platform through which to engage with other supporters of independent education, sharing ideas and opinions and contributing to the national education conversation, through discussion forums and  robust, independent research.

Independent schools can join AFIS as SCHOOL MEMBERS completely free of charge.
A proportion of AFIS revenue is donated to our member schools for their means-tested bursary provision.  Your school community can access all the membership benefits, including exclusive perks and offers.

The more parents, staff and alumni who become AFIS family members, the more all your school community can benefit from membership and the greater the donations your school will receive.  By becoming an AFIS School Member and informing your school community about AFIS, everyone benefits.
