About this event

This workshop is for: NMC registrants who have completed an NMC approved Mentor (e.g ENB 998/ a University accredited Facilitating workplace learning module or similar) / Practice Teacher/ Teacher/ Practice Assessor course 

OR

GMC, HCPC, GPhC registrants who have completed a professional body approved education course in addition to your professional registration, or have clear evidence to demonstrate they meet the RPS framework for designated prescribing practitioners.

If you are unclear whether your education qualification meets the NMC/ HCPC requirements please contact prescribing@brookes.ac.uk 

If you are an NMC registrant and do not hold any of the above qualifications you will not be able to support an NMC Independent/ Supplementary prescribing student and will be required to undertake a Practice Assessor training day (this is a whole day and not these preparation sessions and are accessed via your own trust).

As an NMC/HCPC/GPhC registrant you must have been consistently prescribing for THREE years to undertake the role of Practice Assessor/ Practice Educator.

This workshop will detail the assessment requirements that are specific to students undertaking the Oxford Brookes Prescribing module.
