Developing a Unique Proposition
On the other hand if - like us and many of our clients – you have found it difficult to describe what you do succinctly and engagingly this masterclass could well be for you.
• When asked ‘What do you do?’ is it easy to answer?
• Do the terms 60 second commercial and elevator pitch repel you?
• Is everybody your potential customer?
• Do you know that you have something different to offer but can’t get it across?
• Are you concerned that your staff don’t ‘get-it’?
• Are sales and marketing initiatives difficult to get off the ground?
Answering yes to more than three of the above is a strong indicator that the workshop Rob Harrison and David Wilson are running on Developing a Unique Proposition for your Business will be time well spent.
Rob and David will walk you through their proven process to generate the raw materials for an engaging and compelling business proposition.
The phases covered will be:
• Identifying an ideal customer profile
• Identifying your competitor’s propositions
• Working out how your business is perceived
• Distilling multiple perceptions
• Expressing your valuable differences
• Getting to the essence of your proposition
They will draw on examples from their own experiences as well as those of their clients to illustrate how you can see the wood from the trees and what to focus on to motivate staff, engage prospects and earn loyalty.
So if you are lost for words and fit any of the following criteria this masterclass could be for you:
• Business owner or key board member
• In a business-to-business arena
• Delivering business, intellectual or technical services
• Work with groups or a workforce of 10 to 250 employees
• Within a 1 hour drive of Stratford-upon-Avon
• Are willing to be open minded
Developing yourself through CPD, PDP and More....
How much time do we spend developing others? How do we fund development if we no longer have access to a corporate budget? What does our CPD record currently look like?
In this interactive session we will peer coach each other to consider our own development needs and access to development. Designed by Claire Whitehead Wall and facilitated by fellow SIG members, this session is designed to help us not just plan our development, but take the appropriate action to ensure it happens.
With CIPD retaining the right to review members' CPD records, this is an excellent opportunity to consider how we develop ourselves.
