St Nick's welcomes India Electric Co for another fabulous evening of live music, with support from East-Yorkshire based singer-songwriter Tymisha. As ever there will be a warm welcome, our sensibly priced licensed bar, and great music.

About India Electric Co.

India Electric Company are perhaps best described as “a veritable musical magpie’s nest” (BBC Radio 3) and “A full musical odyssey” (BBC Radio 1). Blending traditional instruments, folk melodies and subtle electronic influences, they’ve extensively performed throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and most recently at The Royal Albert Hall.

After a mammoth 60+ date UK and European support tour with Midge Ure and live sessions with BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music they return in 2024 with their long awaited third studio album. With The Daily Telegraph giving them **** and declaring them “Bursting with invention and full of surprises.” and FRUK describing them as “one of the truly pioneering acts” they will be bringing their unique headline shows to audiences throughout the year.

“Two of the most extraordinary musicians, a phenomenal duo” – BBC Radio 2

**** “Busy as rush hour but full of light, describing a life alive with motion” – The

Independent

“One of the truly pioneering acts in folk music” – FRUK

**** “Classy pop” – The Scotsman

Tymisha

East Yorkshire-based Tymisha blends ethereal vocals with indie-pop soul, weaving Northern Soul, jazz and indie influences into music that’s powerful, raw and deeply felt.

From The Royal Albert Hall to festival stages across the UK and beyond, she’s already making her mark and we’re delighted to welcome her now - while we can!
