Nest is a boutique gift shop brand in Leicestershire. We are proud supports of local craft and small businesses, and beyond that the best of the UKs small independant companies. We are now offering craft workshops!

We are starting with Indian Block Printing which is a wonderful traditional craft with centuries of heritage behind it, yet it is unbelievably contemporary, in both design and ethos. It’s an easy craft to lose yourself in, and best still, anyone can do it and achieve beautiful results. We will be offering stand alone workshops, weekly workshops and group bookings, extending to parties.

This session is the perfect place to start as a beginner. You will be guided through key techniques, tips, and tricks to help you get comfortable with this timeless art form.

You will explore wide selection of traditional printing blocks, colour and various materials as you practice and refine your skills. Once you feel confident, you’ll have the chance to create your own printed fabric and stationery pieces.

By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a collection of your own beautifully crafted products to keep or gift!

What’s included:
Practice fabric
Stationery items - cards, envelopes and tags
A large fabric item - choose from a tea towel or tote bag
A small fabric item (such as a zip pouch or drawstring bag)
Items can be swapped and additional materials purchased if required
Tea, coffee, cake, and all workshop materials are included in the price.
