Become skilled in the ancient art of Indian club swinging

Say goodbye to a stiff back and tight shoulders

Build strong, stable and resilient shoulders from the inside out

Bring your upper body mobility to another level and improve global posture

There's only space for 18 students.


Content of the five-hour workshop:

  • Step-by-step progressions building up to being able to perform inward, outward, reciprocating, alternating and parrallel club mills
  • Static and dynamic transitions to switch from one to another, making a smooth strength and mobility flow
  • The why and how of thoracic spine and shoulder mobilty
  • How to lubricate every joint in the upper body


Clubs are not provided

Participants will need to bring their own pair of Indian Clubs. The gym owner, James St Pierre has kindly offered to pre-order you a pair. Please contact him separately if you wish to do so or check eBay for good deals. I highly recommend wooden clubs over metal clubs. The following sizes are best:

WOMEN: 1.5lbs-2.5lbs or 2.5lbs-3.5lbs for strong women with good grip endurance
MEN: 2lbs-3lbs or 3lbs-4.5lbs for strong men with good grip endurance

Please do not turn up with clubs heavier than 5lbs as you won't be able to keep up and your learning will be hampered.
