INDIAN CLUBS TRANSITIONS 1000-1300

During this workshop I'll be teaching you how to make seemless transitions between various Indian club movements. I recommend already being able to perform Indian club mills (A.K.A. heart-shaped circles) in order to get the most out of this. If you'd like to attend this course and do not know how to perform mills, that's ok! I'll produce a preparation video for you.

WHICH MACE SHOULD I BUY?

Different styles of macebell training demand different weights. If the goal is to make flows involving series' of lunge and chopping patterns, lighter maces are better. However, if the goal is performing more traditional movements, lighter maces work well whilst you learn the movements, but you should progress the weight as quickly as possible. This Macebell Magic workshop is more suited to heavier maces. In an ideal world you would have two maces: heavy and moderate. I recommend the following weights to people who have never touched a mace before:

Big strong women who are used to swinging things: 8kg
Smaller strong women: 6kg
Untrained women: 4kg

Big strong men who are used to swinging things: 10kg
Smaller strong men: 8kg
Untrained men: 6kg

...but after a few months of regular practice you should add 4kg-6kg.
