The foodies of Birmingham have long been tempted by India’s culinary heritage, and numerous informal curry houses, as well as more upscale establishments, can now be found across the City. At Taste and Liquor Indian Street Feast, we seek out to the best British South Indian Street Food Birmingham has to offer.

Taste and Liquor Indian Street Feast will spice up your life! On Saturday, November 30 explore the country’s many regional specialities; found in fancy restaurants, cheat eats favourites or handheld snacks. Sure, you can order another round of tikki masala from takeout and delivery, but why stay in when you can spend a day out at Quantum in Digbeth for some feasting fun?

Birmingham-Digbeth will get the honour of presenting the UK’s best Street Food vendors. From Gujarat to Punjab and Mumbai, British Asian street-food traders and snack bars will celebrate how South Indian food has expanded tenfold. While the Balti Triangle has long been renowned for its destination-worthy South Indian dining, lately, Indian Street Food has been giving it some serious competition.

What could be better than tucking into a Punjabi Mixed Grill in winter? How about some melt-in-your-mouth chunks of Lamb Curry in thick spicy gravy, and plenty of vegetables? Get stuck into a Karavali Chicken Curry with the perfect amount of spice, or hide away in a corner with a Kati Roll from Kolkata. Share with friends a plate full of Bombay Chaat. If you’re brave enough, fancy a game of Indian Pani Poori. Let’s keep it traditional with a delicious vegetarian feast from Gujarat, or indulge in some good-old-fashion comfort food Curry and Chips: celebrating our great British counterparts— demonstrating that South Indian street food is among the most diverse in the world join us for a British South Asian TASTE invasion!

Tate and Liquor Indian Street Feast, a tasty street food festival serving South Indian Street Food in multiple regional variations. Opened all day-to-night from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday, November 30th at Quantum in Digbeth.
