Join rising Indie Rock artist Daniel Barrie at Temperance for the launch party of his debut album ‘Bluer Shade of Grey’. Backed by his Drop D’s, Daniel will bring to life The Bluer Shade of Grey project with all its raw emotion, energy and story telling.
‘Bluer Shade of Grey’ - a coming-of-age record that captures the highs and lows of growing up in a fractured world. Against the backdrop of Coventry’s streets and post-Covid Britain, Daniel explores love, grief, loss, and the weight of uncertainty through an indie-rock lens.
Inspired by the likes of The Stone Roses, Daniel’s sound fuses indie grit with catchy melodies and candid lyrics. Each track tells a story of a young person navigating nights out, first loves, heartbreak, grief, and the reality of a disjointed country, all framed by Daniel’s firsthand experiences.
The launch part will provide you with the first chance to experience the album in full with other favourites mixed in, learning about the story’s behind each song and of course the opportunity to purchase a limited edition physical copy of the album as well as other merch.
