Summer in Melbourne is Festival time and the 2022 St Kilda Festival presents the Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee First People’s Showcase. Join me for a celebration on the foreshore of St Kilda Beach. Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee has a long and proud history spanning over 20 years in St Kilda and was created in response to a community need for an event that promoted local Indigenous culture and celebrated local Indigenous artists. In keeping with festival tradition, this year we'll enjoy a mix of long-established artists, beautifully complimented by the next generation of young and emerging First People’s musical talent.
