Event Information
Description
Steve Lowis selects three more talented local singer/songwriters to take to the stage all together to play a song each in turn 'in the round'. Three musicians, one stage, one song at a time. That's how we roll.
Tonight we welcome:
INDIGORADO - A Norwegian-Swedish duo that plays beautiful world/folk music with nerve, with vocal, harmonica, shaman drum and guitar. This tour will be their first in UK.
JACK WILLIAMS - A 21 year old acoustic / folk singer / songwriter from Southampton who has achieved great success over the last year since being featured on the Passenger YouTube channel, featured in his song "I'll Be Your Man" which has reached over 1 million views. He has supported both Passenger and Gabrielle Aplin on tour.
JOSH SAVAGE - Josh has supported acts as diverse as Razorlight, Rizzle Kicks, Reverend and the Makers, Roll Deep and even some acts with names that don’t begin with ‘R’ such as Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Catfish & The Bottlemen. And he couldn’t resist performing in front of Royalty in Dubai.
“Fantastic song-writing and a resonant, rich voice, Josh exhibits real skill as a musician and singer." - Huffington Post ‘Ten Artists to Watch’
"'Quatre Épines' est déjà formidable... Loving 'Quatre Épines'” - Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

Three Monkeys music night at The Art House is one of the most talked-about music nights in Southampton, loved by lovers of music, enjoy amazing sound (and no-one yacking in your ear.)
You can grab yourself a craft bottled ale too, or one of the best coffee's in town, or maybe a bite to eat from our twilight menu, like a plate of chilli nachos for example?
Entry is free, but we ask you for an optional donation (suggested £4 - £5, or whatever you can afford.) All the money goes to cover artists expenses and back into the running of this non-profit community space.
Accessibility info:-
The event is suitable for adults, young people and older children - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Young children are also welcome to come along but be aware some poems may contain adult content (although we try to keep these until after children have left!).
The event is held on our first floor, which is accessible by a wide staircase with a sturdy banner, and seating is provided. We regret that, due to space and other constraints, we are unable to relocate this particular event to the ground floor for those who require level access - so sorry.
